Elizabeth Bridgeman has invented stories for children since she had her own two boys, often telling them a bedtime story which she made up on the spur of the moment. Some of these she wrote down but this is the first one to be completed and published. Having grandchildren spurred her to finish this one before they outgrew fairy stories. She has drawn the illustrations and created the book’s layout. She also writes short stories for adults and assists people with their own publishing projects. It was her grandson who suggested she write a sequel to this story, which is now being prepared for printing in 2025.
